Hassan Saeed graduated with a Master of Laws in English and North American Business Law (LL.M) from Paris 1, Sorbonne University in 1995. He obtained a Master of Laws in International and European Community Law (LL.M), in Paris 10, Nanterre University in 1994. He holds also a Diploma of Japanese Culture and Civilization from Shimane University, Matsue, Japan, 1999.
Hassan Saeed Abaragh cumulates over 20 years of experience in international business law and dispute resolution in France, Japan, UAE and GCC countries. In 2013, he co-founded the International Consultant Law Office (ICLO), a boutique law firm based in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and focusing on arbitration and international business law.
Hassan has an extensive legal practice in Abu Dhabi (UAE) but also regularly assists clients throughout the EU, East Asia, GCC and MENA Region. He particularly focuses on advising international clients in relation to their investments projects in UAE and GCC region along with local clients regarding their expansion abroad.
Hassan is experienced in Civil Law, Common Law and Japanese Law. His working languages are English, French and Arabic and he has solid knowledge in Italian and basic knowledge in Japanese and Spanish. He works and has worked jointly with many international law firms on projects in or related to GCC/MENA Region.
Hassan sits also as an arbitrator and appears as counsel and co-counsel in local, regional and international arbitrations. He is also actively involved in the development of arbitration’s practice in the UAE and MENA region. His practice focuses primarily on Arbitration, Construction, Regulation and Compliance, Intellectual Property, Technology Law, Corporate and Commercial Litigation.
Hassan has published a number of articles and co-launched the first “UAE Arbitration Yearbook” edited by the “International Consultant Law Office” (ICLO).
