Ibrahim Al Sarraj is graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Cairo University in Egypt and is advocate admitted to practice before Egypt Courts of First Instance, Courts of Appeal and Courts of Cassation. Also, Ibrahim was among the few foreigners admitted to practice before the UAE Courts of First Instance and Courts of Appeal.
Ibrahim cumulates 40 years’ experience in the litigation field including more than 20 years in the UAE.
Ibrahim worked as an advocate in public entities in Egypt before founding his own office in 1981, in Cairo first followed by the opening of branches in Faiyum and Alexandria. He was awarded the price of best lawyer in 1994 by the Egypt Bar Association.
After 20 years of practice in Egypt, Ibrahim moved to UAE where he started to work as a legal consultant before leaving the private practice for an in-house position he occupied for 7 years.
Ibrahim is back to the private practice since 2004 and has been advocate until the Ministerial resolution restricting the right to UAE nationals to appear before UAE Courts.
In 2013, Ibrahim joined ICLO.
Ibrahim cumulates an in depth-knowledge of the UAE courts’ system and an extensive experience in a wide range of litigation matters including Commercial, Property & Rental Disputes, Employment, Construction & Engineering, Insurance, Real Estate.
